Meet the Physicians

Jennie Huang, M.D. (Family Practice)

Dr. Jennie Huang was born in Taiwan and raised in rural Texas where she learned English by waiting tables at her parents' restaurant. She started college when she was 16 years old and graduated from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and her M.D. at the University of Texas. Dr. Huang completed her Family and Community Medicine residency at UCSF in 2004 and has practiced in Novato since then. 

Dr. Huang likes to be involved in community service. As a resident, she provided prenatal care through the Prenatal Partnership Program at San Francisco General Hospital and helped organize a program to expose young, at-risk girls to careers in health care.  She has also worked as a volunteer physician at Marin Community Clinic.  Dr. Huang enjoys playing the piano, running, and cooking for her friends and her dog Scrappy.
