Meet the Physicians
Barbara Finzen, M.D. (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Barbara Finzen is a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine. She sees a spectrum of patients, from late adolescence through geriatrics. Her special interests include preventive medicine and geriatric medicine.
She attended Northwestern University on a National Merit scholarship, and after graduating Phi Beta Kappa in an Honors’ three year degree program, she returned to her home city of Milwaukee to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin. She came to California in 1980 to do her internship and residency at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco, and has resided in Marin County since 1984. She has three grown children and enjoys tennis, hiking, and traveling with her husband.
