Meet the Physicians
Linda Wight, RN, NP
Linda Wight was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but she was raised in Northern California. Linda has spent some time living in Boston and Seattle, but has been back in California for over 17 years. Linda decided she wanted to be a nurse when she was 12 years old and had an appendectomy. After graduating from nursing school at San Jose State University, she spent her first year working in hospitals. She was drawn to Women's Health from the start and studied to be a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner soon after becoming an RN. Linda did her Nurse Provider training at UCLA/Harbor General Hospital.
Linda has thoroughly enjoyed working in Women's Health for the over 30 years now. She finds there's always something new to learn, great people to work with, and wonderful patients of all background who have honored her with the stories of their lives. She sees health as a dynamic process and encourages prevention as a way of life. When Linda is not working she enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She likes to travel and plans to do more when her 2 children finish college.
