Meet the Physicians
Kristen Matsik, M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynecology)
Dr. Kristen Matsik was raised in Richmond, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and graduated from medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center. She and her husband moved to San Francisco in 2000 where she worked at California Pacific Medical Center. She now has three children and lives in Marin.
Kristen is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and specializes in high-risk obstetrics, laparoscopic surgery, and adolescent gynecology. She also provides preventative care services such as well-woman exams, bone density screenings and mammography referrals. Her goal is to understand her patients' concerns and give personalized, attentive care in a professional manner. Kristen is also an assistant clinical professor at the University of California San Francisco. She has taught residents at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco as well as medical students at the public health department and at Marin General Hospital.
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and biking. She is an active volunteer in her community.
