Meet the Physicians
Monica Lopez, M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynecology)
Monica Lopez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her BS in Biology at MIT and subsequently attended medical school at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. It was in her medical school clinicals where she became enamored with the field of obstetrics & gynecology. She went on to complete her residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, after which she joined her practice in Marin and received her board certification.
Dr, Lopez's professional interests include treating the adolescent patient, and her practice encompasses obstetrical deliveries and gynecologic surgery, such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and abdominal/vaginal surgeries.
Dr. Lopez is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, biking, skiing in Tahoe, and cheering on our SF Giants.
