Rachel Bauer, MD.

Dr. Rachel Bauer is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. She is thrilled to be the Pediatric Director of Prima Kids.

Dr. Bauer provides excellent and comprehensive healthcare for your child through discussion, listening and teamwork. She has a specific focus in behavioral issues including sleep and ADHD. She possesses a sincere passion for pediatrics, adores children, and feels a kinship with adolescents. She advocates being a partner with the parent, child and family. Through this partnership, she believes she has the responsibility to guide you towards the healthiest lifestyle and decisions for your child.

Dr. Bauer in the news:

Dr. Bauer is a Bay Area native. She pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of California at San Diego, earning a B.S. in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience. She attended medical school at the Tel Aviv University-Sackler School of Medicine in Israel. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she was privileged to train with some of the world’s leading pediatricians.

Dr. Bauer's dream has always been to develop a long-term relationship with children and families as a primary care physician. Dr. Bauer is delighted to be leading a team of exceptional doctors – all of whom are passionate, talented and eager to serve this community. Outside of pediatrics, she enjoys swimming, hiking, gardening, reading, listening to live music and most of all, spending quality time with her loved-ones.
