Prima is one of the few groups of physicians in Marin whose staff includes a certified lactation educator, Lini Bodian, MA. Lini did her training at UCLA with Kittie Frantz, an internationally recognized expert on breastfeeding and lactation with more than 40 years of experience in the field. In the Prima Pediatrics office Lini is there to support the parents’ experience by answering any questions or concerns they may have about breastfeeding. She helps with “positioning” to make breastfeeding more comfortable. She is also available to answer questions about how long to breastfeed and or how to know if the baby is getting enough milk. Parents can also speak to Lini on the phone or even take advantage of her prenatal and postnatal home visits.
